| Welcome to PURDEN Ski Resort! |
Purden is central British Columbia's largest ski mountain. For more than 40 years, we have been supplying an exciting and robust ski adventure. Purden has 25 named runs, the longest (Lakeview) has over two miles of fabulous terrain!
Purden Ski Village is located near Prince George, British Columbia, Canada and provides some of the best skiing and snowboarding in central British Columbia. Over 1,100 vertical feet of skiing on dry powder snow, treed runs and uncrowded slopes make Purden Ski Village a skier's paradise.
Getting to Purden is easy! We are located just off the highway. From Prince George, BC travel approximately 60 km east on Highway 16. The mountain is a 4 km drive above the highway from the marked turnoff. From McBride, travel approximately 145 km west on Highway 16. See the road map.
Check out the trail map. If it is your first Purden Playday, then print a copy before you leave home. This map details the 3 lifts and 25 named runs in relation to the lodge, parking lot, and ski village. You will be ready to hit the slopes when you get here. Whether you are a down-hill skier, snowboarder, or one of those wild and crazy telemarketers, this is the fun place to be!

General mountain information such as hours, vertical, terrain, etc. can be found on the Information Page.

The staff are absolutely certain that Purden Ski Village is the lost & found capital of the Western Hemisphere, beating out PG elementary schools by a country kilometre. Clothing, phones, cameras, goggles, single gloves, credit cards, keys, reading glasses, you name it. If you are going to have spectacular wipeouts rehearsing for your next YouTube video, ZIP YOUR POCKETS UP FIRST. And use a locker you guys, - keep all your gak in one place!!! Lockers available 20 feet from the front door on the main level of lodge (right behind the bear), & on the lower level (by the Snow Bunny Daycare area). It might be the best buck you've ever spent. |
Snowshoeing at Purden! - The Outdoor Life Adventure Company is offering this activity once again during the 2011-12 season. All arrangements are made directly with Outdoor Life - Purden facilitates the use of designated areas of the mountain for them. Skiers and boarders - no worries! The snowshoers won't be doing a chorus line kick across your hallowed Lakeview, nor any breakdance routines that limit your access to December Sun. Guided snowshoers have way better places to play than the centre of a congested ski run, and their guides carry big sticks for anyone that misbehaves.
To obtain current info, contact Outdoor Life Adventure Company in advance, and book your snowshoe outing directly with them!
